About This Station
This station is powered by a Oregon Scientific WMR-100 weather station Located in Surfside beach South Carolina. The data is collected every 5 seconds and the site is updated every 15 minutes. This site and its data is collected using Weather Display Software. The station comprises of an anemometer, rain gauge and a thermo-hydro sensor situated in optimal positions for highest accuracy possible. Check CWOP QC for data quality.
The server is a Dell Poweredge 6450 with Quad 700MHZ Xeon processors - 50G HD and 4G RAM. Weather Display, Apache XAMMP Web server,
Oddcast/Icecast for streaming NOAA Weather Radio and KMYR Air Traffic Control. Weather Message is used for EMWIN data injest. This site
